James L. Switzer

James Switzer, 42, passed away on February 9, 2023. Loving fiancé of Heather Birtcil; adored father of Jasmyne Pruitt-Switzer, Jayla Pruitt-Switzer, Aaliyah Switzer and Daylen Switzer; beloved son of Gregory McDuffy; beloved brother of Jolonda (Christian) Bennett, Gregory "Roper" (Stephanie) McDuffy, Danielle (Ross Medley) McDuffy; and loving grandson of Barbara McDuffy.

James was preceded in death by his mother Deborah McDuffy and his grandparents: Geraldine and Allen Switzer.

James was a devoted fiancé, father, brother and uncle. He enjoyed watching his kids play sports. He also enjoyed watching his favorite teams which include the Michigan Wolverines, the Cleveland Browns and the Los Angeles Lakers.

Services will be held for family and close friends, and James will be laid to rest at Byron Cemetery, Fairborn, Ohio. A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 from 3-5pm at TJ Chumps, Dayton Yellowsprings Rd, Fairborn.
