James Edward Strutton, age 78 of Dayton, passed away Friday, February 16, 2024 at Carillon Health & Rehab. He was born December 29, 1945 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Roy Strutton and Anna Bocock. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, John and Marvin Strutton.
James is survived by his better half, Donna Penny; three siblings, Cathy (Ron) Pierson, Ron Caldwell, and Mary Grigsby. He is also survived by numerous family and friends.
The family hopes those who would like to honor him will find a quiet time to remember who he was in your life and be thankful for the time you had together. In lieu of a public funeral service, individual families are encouraged to have their own private memorial at this time.
