James Stevens

STEVENS, James E., 74, of Dayton went to be with the Lord Monday December 26, 2005. He is preceded in death by his wife Lyda Christine Stevens; son Michael "Cracker" Stevens, and sister Maxine Henderickson. James is survived by his daughter Gail Tyson; grandchildren Christopher J. Tyson and Amber F. (James) Tyson-Wilcher; great grandchildren Zachary James and Katlyn Faith; sisters Mary Barker and Gay (Jimmy) Hargett; brother Jerry (Jean) Stevens; and numerous other family and friends. He was an active member of Moraine City First Church of God and a Godly man who enjoyed winning souls for Christ. Funeral services will be held 7:00PM Friday December 30, 2005 at Moraine City First Church of God, 5867 Springboro Pike. Brother Robert Northcutt officiating. Family will receive friends from 5-7PM Friday prior to services at the church. Additional visitation will be 11:30-12:30 Saturday December 31, 2005 at Northcutt & Son Funeral Home, Morehead, KY. Interment at Stevens Cemetery, Hayes Crossing, KY will follow visitation. If so desired, contributions may be made to charity of your choice.
