James Albert Smith, Jr., age 63 of Dayton, passed away Friday, July 12, 2019 at his home. He was born May 19, 1956 in Dayton, Ohio the son of the late James and Shirley Smith.
James is survived by his friends, Mariah Phipps and Rodney Justice; He is also survived by numerous family and friends.
In his youth, he used to race cars with his dad. Jim was an avid Indianapolis 500 and NASCAR fan who enjoyed watching Dale Earnhart and Dale Earnhart, Jr. He liked to watch old western movies and television shows. He was a lifelong Dallas Cowboy fan. Jim was a loving friend who was always there for anyone who needed his help. He especially loved spending time with his friends and talking about the "good old' days".
Private family interment at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Trotwood, Ohio at a later date.
