SCHWANENGEL, James R., 80, of Dayton passed away May 1, 2016 at Kettering Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He retired from the Carpenter's Local Union #136. James was preceded in death by parents, Earl and Ethel Clark; first wife, Edna, and infant son, Jerry.
He is survived by loving wife of 42 years, Connie Schwanengel; daughters, Kerry (Hajo) Scheuner, Denise (Terry) Nies, and Stacy (Wayne) Schwanengel, grandchildren, Toni, Erin, Caden, and Andrew; 5 great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, James and Joanne Reichert; special friend, Jack Kaylor; and several nieces, nephews, and friends.
James loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman.
He is survived by loving wife of 42 years, Connie Schwanengel; daughters, Kerry (Hajo) Scheuner, Denise (Terry) Nies, and Stacy (Wayne) Schwanengel, grandchildren, Toni, Erin, Caden, and Andrew; 5 great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, James and Joanne Reichert; special friend, Jack Kaylor; and several nieces, nephews, and friends.
