James "Mike" Rush, 56, of Dayton, passed away on March 4, 2015 in his home. He was born on March 14, 1958 in Cloverport, KY, to the late Herbert and Kathleen (McDonaugh) Rush.
Mike worked as a carpenter for most of his life.
He was full of life and loved to make people laugh. Mike enjoyed fishing and camping. He loved spending time with his family and friends.
Mike is survived by his loving Sons, Shawn William Rush, Kenny Horn; Sisters, Jackie (Rocky) Paternostro, Kathy (Terry) Stratenberger; brothers Tim Rush, Paul Dowers; nephews, Shawn Paternostro, Brandon Paternostro; nieces, Melissa Horn, Jessica Fuller and Jennifer Rider; great nephews, Johnnie Isaac Jr, Cadyn Fuller, Brennan Witty; great nieces, Skyla Isaac, Rylee Oyeyemi; best friends and "brother", Brian Long, Bruce Rosseland, James Odell, Ron Poynter and family and several other good friends.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Tom Rush.
Mike will be greatly missed by all who loved him.
Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
