James Robertson

James Robertson, age 80, was surrounded by family members when he passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 29th at Bethany Village after losing a fifteen-month battle with brain cancer. Jim is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Barbara, and his four sons, James, Bruce, Bill, and Paul, in addition to twenty-one grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Jim was born in Brooklyn New York on October 2, 1927, served in the Navy, obtained a degree in electrical engineering from Brooklyn Polytech, and had a successful career in information technology. Jim and Barbara loved and competed in ballroom dancing for many years. After retirement from NCR, Jim was an active member of the Water Garden Society and the Focus One photography club. Friends and family are invited for a viewing at 1:00 PM and Memorial Service at 2:00 PM on Saturday February 2nd at the Newcomer Funeral Home located at 3940 Kettering Boulevard, Kettering, OH.
