James M. Roberts

James Martin Roberts, age 63, of Moraine passed away on December 23, 2023. He was born in Dayton on March 3, 1960 to the late Dallas Roberts and Opal Davidson. In addition to his parents, James is preceded in death by his father-in-law, Bob Holbrook; mother-in-law, Betty Holbrook; sister-in-law, Sandy Baker and brother-in-law, Bob Burris.

James is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Deanna; son, James (Abby) Roberts; grandchildren, Lukas Roberts, Chase Roberts; brother, Jerry (Sharon) Roberts; special great-nieces, Emmalyn Smyczek, Brynlee Smyczek and lifelong friend, Eddie Henne; along with many other family and friends.

James worked as a heavy equipment operator until 2009. He was an avid Harley rider and race car enthusiast. James loved spending time with his grandchildren, nieces and longtime fur children: Bandit, Roscoe and Max. He was always willing to lend a helping hand and enjoyed life to the fullest. James will be dearly missed and forever loved by his family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 30, 2023 at Newcomer Kettering, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Service will begin at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
