James Ray Jordan
Age 71, of Columbus, went home to be with Jesus on Sunday, March 8, 2009. He was raised in the OS&SO Home in Xenia and retired from the U. S. Air Force as a Tech Sgt with 23 years of service and went on to work for the State of Ohio for 25 years. Jim is survived by his loving wife of the past 51 years, Minnie R. Jordan; four children, Mark R. Jordan, Teresa A. Wiebusch, Mike R. Jordan & Julie A. Jordan; four grandchildren, Jacqueline, Robert, Zachary & Jordan; great grandson, Robert Jr; and by his special friends, Louise, Gary and Cvjeta. The family will be receiving friends from 12:00 – 1:30 p.m., Monday (3/16) at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. with interment to follow at the Dayton National Cemetery.
