James L. "Jim", "Boots", Randolph, age 84, of Kettering, passed away October 29, 2022.
He was a graduate of West Carrollton High School, Class of 1956, and played football and baseball during those years. He was a high school football referee for 10 years in the Dayton area. Jim worked at NCR for 18 years and then went on to work at Borden's Dairy as a Route Man and from there, he moved to Safety Harbor, Florida for 14 years before coming back home to be with his children.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Lester and Helen (Pasek) Randolph, his sister Margie Mamula, and his brother Lowell "Randy" Randolph.
Jim is survived by his wife Judy (Ely) Randolph; his children, Kirk (Linda) Randolph of Fairfax, VA, Barry Randolph of Monroe, OH, and Lora Terrill of West Carrollton, OH; 7 grandchildren Tanner, Courtney, Sidney, Eric, Stephanie, Chad, Melanie; 4 great-grandchildren; 7 nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends.
In his free time Jim loved to fish and hunt for mushrooms, and enjoyed remodeling. He loved to tinker and enjoyed working with his hands. If desired, an expression of sympathy may be made to St. Vincent DePaul or to the Wounded Warriors Project in Jim's memory.
A Memorial Dinner and Gathering for family and friends will be held at Marion's Pizza, 711 Shroyer Rd., Dayton, OH 45419, on November 23, 2022, from 6 PM to 9 PM.
