James R. Spitzer

James R. Spitzer, age 72, of Fairborn, passed away on July 8, 2012. He was born on May 5, 1940 to the late Charles and Edna Spitzer. In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Spitzer; brother, David Spitzer; and numerous Aunts and Uncles.
Jim is survived by his brother, Charles "Sonny" (Arlene) Spitzer; daughters, Karen Yoakum and Kim Smith; grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and other family members and good friends.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday July 11, 2012 from 5:00-8:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd. The funeral service will take place the following day, Thursday July 12, 2012 at 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Byron Cemetery in Fairborn, OH.
