James R. Serapin, age 73, of Fairborn, passed away on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 with his step-daughter, Mindy by his side.
Jim was born in Dayton on February 13, 1948.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth; aunt, Charlotte; and uncle, Kenny.
Jim is survived by his step-daughters, Mindy Porter, Jackie Porter and Melissa Porter; step-grandchildren, Alex Porter and Haley Kuzminski; and beloved cats, Boots and Sylvester.
Jim enjoyed watching his Ohio sports teams play. He loved engaging in political discussions-he was also a history buff. Jim was an amazing cook and knew how to mix a drink! He worked for many years at Just for Eyes, repairing glasses. He often travelled and captured pictures and mementos from his trips.
Jim will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
