James R. Mosley Sr.
James R."Jimmy" Mosley Sr., age 62, of Moraine, passed away peacefully at home Saturday, March 12, 2011.
Jimmy was born August 18, 1948 in West Virginia.
He attended Hubbell Grade School and Guyan Valley High School in West Virginia.
Jimmy owned and operated Quality Auto & Tire on N. Gettysburg, in Dayton for 18 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Woodrow & Beatrice Mosley and sister, Virginia "Jenny" Adkins.
Jimmy is survived by his wife of 42 years, Nancy Mosley; children, James Robert Mosley Jr., Joseph, Woodrow and Beverly Mosley; 12 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; sister, Charlotte (Allen) Frye; brothers, Woodrow (Joan) Mosley, Ralph (Debbie) Mosley, Richard (Cindy) Mosley, Roger (Debbie) Mosley, Gary (Donna) Mosley, Larry Mosley (and his son, Alex), Raymond (Christine) Mosley; mother-in-law, Eva Ruth Peterson; sister-in-law, Stella (Keith) Boggs; brothers-in-law, James (Deborah) Shepherd and Dan (Rochelle) Shepherd; and many other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 16, 2011 from 1-2pm at Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439). The service will follow at 2pm.
