KUSSMAN, James "Jim" R.
age 82 of Kettering, passed away Friday, December 8, 2006 at the V.A. Medical Center. Jim was born November 9, 1924 in Piqua, OH, the son of Cyril and Florence Kussman. He served our country in the United States Army, 3rd Division during World War II. He retired from Bowser-Morner Testing Lab after over 25 years of service. Jim is survived by his wife of 58 years, Rita Nurrenbrock Kussman; children, Kathy (Dave) Toole, Mike (Billie) Kussman, Carol (Bill) Haire, Bob (Pam) Kussman, and Mark (Shelly) Kussman; sister, Mary Ann Kussman; brother, Jack (Jane) Kussman; grandchildren, Colleen (Kelly) Sather, Drs. Casey (Mandi) Toole, Nathan (Allie) Kussman, Brittany Kussman, Ashleigh Kussman, Kelsey Kussman, Jean Haire, Leslie Haire, Kylee Kussman, Teri Wilke, and Jaimi Wilke; and 6 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Tom and Paul Kussman. A gathering of friends and family will be held 5:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 13, 2006 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd. A memorial mass will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Church of the Ascension, 2025 Woodman Drive, Kettering.
