Pottenger, James "Len"
age 62 of Huber Heights. The Lord called him home unexpectedly Sunday evening, January 29, 2006. Jim was born on March 9, 1943 in Dayton, Ohio. Jim was employed by Sam's Club on Miller Lane at the gas station. He will be missed by many of the members who stopped by for gas and to chat with him. His co-workers will miss him dearly. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Lola Maye Pottenger. She was the love of his life. Jim is also survived by two brothers, Edward (Marcella) Pottenger and Richard (Edie) Pottenger; sisters-in-law, Nira Pottenger, Lois McClinton, Sue (Donnie) Quillen, and Liz Murphy; brothers-in law, Frank (Shirley) Manning and Roy (Nancy) Bryant; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Eileen Pottenger and brother, Kenneth Pottenger. Family will receive friends 5:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, February 2, 2006 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
