James Pearman

PEARMAN, James F. age 80, of Dayton, OH, passed away peacefully Saturday, March 29, 2008. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Laura; brothers, Jack and Bill; and daughter-in-law, Pam. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Mildred; son Rod of GA; daughter, Cheryl Michalak of Kettering; granddaughters, Jessica and Ashley of Dayton, Kimberly of MD, and Kristen of GA; brother, Glenn (Kathleen) of FL; sisters-in-law, Dolores of NV and Ann of Dayton. He was a member of Far Hills Baptist Church and a current member of First Baptist on Swigart Rd. Jim taught Sunday school, sang in the choir, and was an ordained deacon. Jim retired from NCR, Duriron Co. and the Oakwood school system. He managed little league baseball, was an avid fisherman, and loved to play golf. Visitation will be held 9-12 Tuesday, April 1, 2008 at First Baptist Church, 3939 Swigart Rd. Services will follow at noon at the church with Dr. Barry Jude and Rev. Matt Fleck officiating. Interment will follow at Miami Valley Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jim's memory may be made to the Church Building Fund, or Hospice of Dayton. The family would like to thank Dr. Calvo and staff and the nurses on 3 south.
