PARRIMAN, James "Jim" Emby
age 87 of Waynesville, passed away Friday, April 28, 2006 at Sycamore Hospital. Jim was born January 5, 1919, the son of Elijah and Elizabeth Parrimam. He served our country in the United States Navy during World War II. Jim was an avid gardener and was known for his generosity with his tomatoes. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Dana Parriman; children, Jo Ann (Larry) Parks and Richard (Linda) Parriman; sister, Phyllis Sulfridge; brother, Billy Parriman; grandchildren, Brian (Karen) Parks, Dianna (Bill) Petering and Ashley Parriman; great grandchildren, Kyle and Alyson Petering; and numerous nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors. Jim was preceded in death by his parents; infant daughter, Dorothy Parriman; sisters, Barbara Hamilton and Edith Covington; and brothers, Virgil, Justin and Jack Parriman. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the special neighbors and friends for their friendship and support.
