James Paul Music, Sr.

James Paul Music, Sr., earned his Angel wings to Heaven on July 19, 2021, at his home with his beloved wife, Patti, and "Angel", his beloved dog, by his side.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Nancy (Moore) Music; and son, James Paul Music, Jr.

He is survived by his daughter, Cheryl Warren (Daniel) and their children, Sydney, Alex and Peter; Sydney Western (Matthew) and their children, Madison, Jude and Jakob; his sister, Gwen Salyers; and brother, Clarence Music.

Also survived by Patti's daughter, Faith Gausel (Steve) and their children, Danielle, Brittany, Aron, Will, Hannah, Montana, CJ, Sara, and Ashley; and great grandchildren, Travis, Elijah, Malachi, Leia, Johnny, and Athena. He would always say "I loved me some babies!"

He will also be greatly missed by his sister-in-law, Tammy Hall (Robert); his brother-in-law, Bruce Campbell, who handmade a wooden side table for his bedside and a special memory box in remembrance of his son, Paul.

James was an ordained Minister. Anyone that had the pleasure to hear him preach God's word was truly blessed.

Our family wants to share a special thank you to his awesome Hospice Team: Jackie, Carolyn, Melinda, Ric, CJ, Mel, Alisha and Amber; Pastor Steve Wagoner and all of his church family at Faith Hill Church of God; and his very special Church friend Peanut, Mae Hensley.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 29, 2021, from 10am-11am, at Faith Hill Church of God, 35 Vanderbilt Dr., Fairborn, where Funeral Services will begin at 11am, with Pastor Steve Wagoner officiating. Burial will follow at Byron Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the funeral home to help defray expenses.
