James Michael Bertorello
April 24, 1949 — March 14, 2012
James M. "Jim" Bertorello, age 62, of West Carrollton, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, March 14, 2012.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Anna Mary Bertorello; sister, Denise; brother-in-law, Michael Wertz.
He is survived by his loving wife of 15 years, and best friend, Kathy (Wertz); sons, James & wife Tonya, of Huber Heights, Michael & wife Jessica, of Lebanon; grandchildren, who were the love and joy of his life, Amber, Gabrielle and Leo; brothers, John & wife Misha, of MI, Lawrence and Thomas, of Dayton; father-in-law & mother-in-law, James & Lila Wertz; sister-in-laws, Vicky & husband Terry Day, Debbie & husband Jim Hyatt; numerous nieces; nephews; family members; friends; and special friend, Karla Gilman.
Jim enjoyed life, telling stories, and jokes with family and friends. He will be missed by all. The family will receive friends Saturday, March 17, 2012 from 11am-1pm at South Dayton Baptist Church (2351 Rand Ave., Moraine, OH 45439). The service will follow at 1pm, with Pastor Steve Thornhill officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jim's memory to a college fund set up at Fifth Third for his beloved grandchildren.
