James E. Meadows

James Edward Meadows, 86, of Beavercreek, passed away December 1, 2017. James was born in Dott, West Virginia on March 2, 1931 to the late Edgar and Virginia Meadows. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army during the Korean War. In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his siblings, Betty Barrett of Grand Blanc MI, Peggy Heiser of Dayton OH, Willis Meadows of Beckley WV, Wilford Meadows of Beckley WV, Rosemary Deaton of Dayton OH, and Bill Meadows of Columbia MD. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Fatima Meadows; brothers, Charles Meadows, Dennis (Barbara) Meadows, Edgar Meadows, Robert (Vicky) Meadows; and several nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held from 10:30 - 11:30am on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, where funeral services will begin at 11:30am. Burial will follow at Valley View Memorial Gardens.
