MCDANIEL, James G. "Pete", 61, of Dayton passed away Monday, July 30, 2007 at Hospice of Dayton. He is survived by his wife Vikki McDaniel; children Jessica (Chris) Stutes, Travis Eads, and Kelly Reynolds; grandchildren Nate, Cati, Katie, Austin, Samantha, and Elizabeth; brothers Preston and Frank (Patsy) McDaniel; sister Emma Jean Black; mother and father-in-law Bill and June Clark; numerous nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.He is preceded in death by his parents Colbert and Mary Kate McDaniel and brother Bibb McDaniel.He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Pete was a member of Millport , AL football Hall of Fame. He was an avid golfer and amazing father and husband. A memorial service will be held 2:00PM Saturday August 4, 2007 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00PM Saturday prior to services at the funeral home.
