James P. "Bobbie" Mayer, age 67, of Dayton, Ohio passed away September 30, 2018.
He graduated from Northmont High School and attended Dayton Art Institute.
Bobbie retired after 40 years in the roofing and gutter industry.
He was a member of the Greek Orthodox faith. Bobbie loved fishing, the Cincinnati Bengals, the Daybel Eagles and East Dayton Club.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Mary Mayer; sons, P. J. Mayer and Paul Feldman; and granddaughter Taylor Mayer.
Bobbie is survived by his daughters Jennifer Baker, Maria Mayer and Brandi Corns; son-in-law Stephen Corns; grandchildren Austin and Mackenzie Baker, Nicholas Goodwin, Lily, Jonny and Aaron Kim, Morgan Coleman, Justin and Natalie Corns, Brooklyn, Scarlett and Johnie Feldman; great grandchildren Lucas Goodwin and Isaac Feldman; sister Penny Showalter; Mitch Showalter; nephews Nickolas and Alex Kordalis; and former wives Teresa Copeland and Linda Williams.
A Celebration of Bobbie's Life will be held on Sunday, October 7, 2018 from 1-4:00 pm at the Daybel Fraternal Order of Eagles Lodge #3031, 1221 Wayne Avenue in Dayton, Ohio 45410.
