Reverend James E Maglott, Age 84, received his Heavenly reward on Sunday, March 18th 2018 at the Miami Valley Hospital.
He was a graduate of Dayton Bible College and was a pastor for Open Bible Standard Churches for 41 years. He faithfully attended Kettering Assembly of God for 20 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents John and Flossie Maglott of Mansfield Ohio, 3 Brothers and 3 Sisters and his beloved Son, Mark Maglott.
Survived by his loving wife of 63 years Joyce Maglott of Kettering Ohio; his son Don Maglott and wife Ann of Albuquerque New Mexico, his son Bill and wife Wilma Maglott of Dubach Louisiana, his daughter Carolyn and husband Bill Wheeler of Kingsport Tennessee; his grandchildren Julie, Donna, Jeff, Cara, Brittany, Billy, Mark Allen, Jesse and Dustin; many great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and many other family members and friends.
We give a special thanks to his granddaughter Brittany Wheeler for all her love and care and his neighbor Dora Ericksen for all she did.
A Celebration of Reverend Maglott's life will be held Friday, March 23, 2018 at 11:00 am at Kettering Assembly of God Church. Burial will follow at Castine Cemetery in Darke County, Ohio. Family will greet friends at the church from 10-11:00 am on Friday.
