James Ralph Lockwood

James Ralph Lockwood, age 77, passed away on March 23, 2024. He was born on November 15, 1946 in Detroit, MI to the late Joyce and James Lockwood.
James was a retired United States Air Force veteran. He served in the Vietnam War and served for the NSA. James was a musician, photographer and a foodie.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Kyoko Lockwood; his daughter, Kyoko Lockwood and his sisters, Judy, Jeri and Julie.
He is survived by his children, Mutsuko (Reid Yamashiro) Caraulia, Pamela Armstrong, Sherry (Bill) Ewen, Sueko Lockwood, James Lockwood III, Sheilene (Drew) Kozlowski; his 12 grandchildren, Shannon Valdez, Aaron Caraulia, Brittany Franklin, Mark Armstrong, Mycol Armstrong, Kaylee Ewen, Nicole Ewen, Emily Ewen, Brendan Gibson, Sidney Gibson-Lockwood, Carson Gibson-Lockwood, Charlotte Kozlowski; his 18 great-grandchildren; his siblings, Joyce, Joan, Janet, John, Jay and Jeff.
Visitation will be held Saturday, March 30, 2024 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm with a memorial service to follow at Newcomer Funeral Home - North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd. Dayton, OH 45424.
