James Lewis
James V. Lewis, age 68 of Dayton, passed away December 24, 2010. He was born January 10, 1942 in Dayton to the late A.D. Lewis and Clara Johnson. Preceded in death by brother, Donald Lewis; and sister, Joanne Walters.
He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Lewis; children: Florence Jones, Deborah Dailey, Sheila Tucker and Stormie Lewis Smith; step-children: Raymond Lewis, Jr. and Crystal Lewis; 11 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; brothers: Bill Johnson, Ernie Johnson, Cecil Johnson and Ray Lewis, Sr.; sister, Leona Beach; many nieces, nephews and friends. He is also survived by his baby dog, Taco.
Visitation will be held from 5-8 pm on Wednesday at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, where the funeral service will be held at 1:30 pm on Thursday, December 30, 2010. Burial to follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens.
