James Lemaster

James R. Lemaster, age 65, of Huber Heights, passed away October 14, 2021. He was born October 20, 1955 in Greenfield, Ohio to the late Clyde and Helen Lemaster. In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by sisters and brothers-in -law: Patty Bragg, Sandra & Roger Rhodus and Jerry Simpson II.

Jim is survived by his wife, April Lemaster; children: Julie Flaute (Brad), Christopher Lemaster and Cheyene Simpson; grandson, Syler Flaute; mother-in-law, Judith Simpson; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Jim was a truck driver, a member of the Teamsters Union and retired after 22 years of service. Jim enjoyed playing pool, bowling and going to the casinos. He loved baseball and football. Jim's favorite teams were the Bengals, the Atlanta Braves and the Houston Astros. Jim loved his family with all of his heart. He never wanted anyone to be sad - he just wanted everyone to remember all of the good times and all the fun that he had.

Instead of a traditional funeral, Jim wanted a celebration of life, a party! His party will be held at 3:00pm on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at the Huber Heights VFW Post 3283, 5074 Nebraska Avenue, Dayton, Ohio. Arrangements by Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road.
