Lee, James "Jimmy", 69, of Dayton, OH went home to be with the Lord on February 18, 2020 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, TN.
He was born on July 20, 1950 to the late Hubert and Irene (Rodgers) Lee in Dayton, OH.
Jimmy retired from Dayton Public Schools after 30 years of service; he also served as Minister for 36 years at New Carlisle Church of Christ, New Richmond Church of Christ, and Englewood Church of Christ.
On July 21, 1972 he married Sandra B. "Sandi" Lee (Bradley).
His biggest love was his grandchildren and preaching the Gospel. Jimmy enjoyed watching Ohio State Football and loved the outdoors. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.
Jimmy is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Sandra "Sandi"; children, Josh (Christy) Lee, Adam Lee, and Zachary (Sarah) Lee; mother-in-law, Eloise Hicks; aunt, Vivian Hatfield; grandchildren, Michael, Maeson, Lainey, Anna, Audrey, Lyla, Charlotte, and Olivia; sister, Shirley Reynolds; nieces & nephews; and other loving family & friends.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 25, 2020, from 5-8 pm at Englewood Church of Christ (1130 Union Rd, Englewood, OH. 45322).
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 26, 2020, 10 am at Englewood Church of Christ, with 2 of his sons, Josh & Zachary, officiating.
Burial immediately after at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Tipp City.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Jimmy's memory are suggested to Dayton Children's Hospital (1 Childrens Plz, Dayton, OH 45404).
