James (Jim) A. Law, 78 of Kettering (formerly of Springfield), passed on December 7. He was born in Springfield, Ohio on January 8, 1938 the son of John W. and Thelma (Burns) Law. He retired from Cascade Corporation after 25 years. He was a 4-H advisor for the Showman 4-H club and served on the Clark County 4-H & FFA Rabbit and Poultry committee for many years. Jim was a member of the Federal Order of Eagles. He was a graduate of Southeastern High School and was an avid supporter of their athletics program, mostly the Lady Trojans basketball team.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Timothy and Tammy Law of Franklin; three daughters and son-in-laws Tiffany and Anthony Lobertini of Enon; and Lori and Tom Rudolph of San Antonio, TX; Six granddaughters and a grandson-in-law Ashley and Josh Glascock of Springboro; Mariah Law of Atlanta, Georgia; Emily Fricke of Franklin; Christina Lobertini-Burks and Stephanie Lobertini-Burks of Enon; Sarah Rudolph of San Antonio, TX; a grandson Lucas Lobertini of Enon; and great grandsons Jaxon and Mack Glascock of Springboro; a brother and sister-in-law Glen and Rita Law of Columbus; two sisters and brother-in laws Joanne and William Carle of Cambridge; Doris and Lindy Crew of Springfield; sister-in-law Donna Law of Springfield, and many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was proceeded in death by his parents, three brothers and three sister-in laws, Eugene Law, Mildred Law, Betty Law, Earl Law, Richard Law and Doris Law and two sisters and brother-in-laws: Arlene and John Brown; June and Robert McLean.
Family will receive friends Monday, December 12, 2016 from 5 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 6 p.m. at Newcomer Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, OH. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Heartland Hospice.
