James L. Downes

James L. Downes, age 82, of Moraine, passed away Sunday, December 14, 2008. James was a veteran of WWII and the Korean Conflict. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Mary Ann Downes; daughters Michelle (Mark) Trice, of Oregonia OH; Maureen (Donald) Barber, of St. Augustine FL and Kelly (Daniel) Holt, of Indianapolis IN 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and daughter-in-law Nellie Downes, of Califon NJ. James was preceded in death by his sons Craig and Keith Downes. The family will receive friends Thursday, December 18, 2008 from 10-11am at St Henry's Catholic Church. A mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00am. Interment will follow at a later date at Dayton National Cemetery.
