James Kiefer
James C. Kiefer, age 81 of Vandalia, passed away October 29, 2011. He was born March 24, 1930 in Hamilton, Ohio to the late Michael P. Kiefer and Theresa Kiefer-Prall.
James was a veteran of the U.S. Army, Korean War. He was a graduate of the University of Cincinnati, where he attended undergraduate and law school. James was a private practice attorney for many years. He was a member of the Dayton Rotary Club for many years, was an avid coin collector and supporter of the University of Cincinnati Bearcat basketball team.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, November 3, 2011 at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the Athletic Department at the University of Cincinnati. Arrangements by Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road.
