James Johnson

JOHNSON, James A., age 56, of Beavercreek, passed away Friday, June 30, 2006 at the Dayton VA Medical Center. He was born November 27, 1949 in Dayton, OH. He proudly served with the United States Army during the Vietnam Era and was a member of Light Street Apostolic Church. He is survived by his wife, Denise Johnson; one daughter, Amy Johnson; seven sons, David (Sarah)Johnson, Todd (Megan) Johnson, Dustin (Jessie) Vincent, Brandon Johnson, Ben Johnson, Christopher Johnson, and Matthew Johnson; five grandchildren, Mia Johnson, Zach Johnson, Caden Johnson, Emma Johnson, and Reilly Vincent; both parents, Alex and Flora Johnson; two sisters, Linda Stoots and Cynthia Barr; four brothers, Dawayne, Rodger, Phillip, and Doug Johnson; numerous other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Sunday, July 2, 2006 from 5-8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd.). Funeral services will be held Monday, July 3, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at Light Street Apostolic Church (39 Light St., Dayton, OH). Burial will follow at Valley View Memorial Gardens. If desired, contributions may be made to the VA Hospice Fund.
