James "Jim" Johnson

JOHNSON, James "Jim" Paul, 61, of Xenia, OH passed away Tuesday March 13, 2012.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Irene Johnson.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Sandra "Sandy" Johnson; daughter, Nissa K. Easterling; granddaughters, Tyler Marie Johnson and Shelby Kaylynn Johnson; brother, Thomas "Tom" Edward (Cindi) Johnson; niece, Leona Johnson and her family; and nephew, Bruce Johnson and his family, all of Colorado.
Jim was a United States Air Force Veteran serving during the Vietnam Conflict. He liked carpentry, loved to fish and hunt, camping, and traveling. Jim was very family oriented and they always came first in his life.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday April 5, 2012 at 10am at the Northside Christian Church, 733 Country Club Drive, Xenia, OH.
A graveside committal will take place at the Dayton National Cemetery, Dayton, OH after the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Northside Christian Church.
Arrangements are by the Newcomer Funeral Home (Beavercreek Chapel), Beavercreek, OH.
