James C. Jewell

James C. "Jim" Jewell, age 77 of Moraine, passed away on Monday, March 22, 2021 at Kettering Medical Center. He was born on August 13, 1943 in Beattyville, Kentucky to the late Robert and Ellar Jewell. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his twin brother, Charles Ray Jewell, sister, Louise Edwards, brother Cluster Jewell.

James is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Frieda Jewell; two children, James G. (Tammy) Jewell and Sean (Michelle) Jewell, three grandchildren, James R. (Leighann) Jewell, Brooke (Logan) Jewell, and Jesse Jewell; great granddaughter, Adalynn Jewell; brother, Dexter Jewell; daughter-in-law, Shelly Jewell; and special great-grand-dog, Reba Ray. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

A Celebration of Life for Jim will be held from 2-6 PM on Monday, March 29, 2021 at South Dayton Baptist Church (2351 Rand Ave, Moraine, OH 45439).
