James Jackson

JACKSON, James G. "Pharoh," age 73, of Dayton, passed away Sun., Sept. 5, 2004 at Hospice of Dayton. He was preceded in death by his parents David H. & Mattie Jackson, 3 brothers Lee, William and David and 2 sisters Grace Finch and Pearl Callahan. James is survived by 1 brother Rev. Robert A. Jackson of Dayton; 2 sisters Frances Winston of Dayton and Ada Yarber (Arnold L.) of Champaign, IL; 2 brothers-in-law Paul Finch of Dayton and Edward Callahan of Los Angeles, CA and numerous other family members. He retired in 1973 from Chrysler after 30 years of service, was a U.S. Army veteran during the Korean War and a former member of First Baptist Church of Ridgewood Heights. Funeral services 1 P.M., Wed., Sept. 8, 2004 at the Bible Class Missionary Baptist Church, 3032 Hoover Ave. Rev. Marvin S. Arnold, Sr. officiating. Interment Dayton National Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 12 Noon - 1 P.M. prior to the service at church. Arrangements entrusted to Newcomer-Farley Funeral Home, Kettering Chapel.
