James J. Krohe

James J. Krohe, age 70, of Dayton, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, February 28, 2013.
He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Judy Krohe; daughters, Diane (Mark) Prass, of Hilliard and Lisa Krohe, of Dayton; step-son, Brian (Corissa) Heindl, of Farmersville; grandchildren, Taylor, Nick, Alec and Abby; sister, Noreen (John) Sznajder, of Pittsburgh, PA; nephew, Sean McCarthy; various nieces; nephews and many friends.
Jim retired from NCR. He was a member of Masons of West Carrollton Lodge No, 0737. Jim loved music, movies and religious books. He attended Concordia Lutheran Church of Oakwood. Jim was studying to be a Stephen Minister.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 5, 2013 from 2-4 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439). The service will follow at 4 pm, with Pastor Tony Sobocinski officiating.
Jim will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Donations may be made in Jim's memory to the American Heart Association.
