James Hudson Sr.

James H. Hudson, age 75 of Xenia, departed his life peacefully on Friday, December 5, 2014 at Kettering Medical Center. He was born September 14, 1939 in Olney, Illinois the son of Frank and Frances E. Hudson. James retired after 30 years of services from Truck and Bus Assembly Plant of General Motors in Moraine. He was known by most as "Can Man" always finding ways to help the less fortunate during the holidays.

He is proceeded in death by his wife of 46 years, Elizabeth "Ann" Keisling and his parents.

James is survived by three children, Shiela (Patrick) Woolard of Dayton, James (Beth) Hudson of West Carrollton, and Susan (Thomas) Shaw of Xenia; a brother, Robert Hudson of Sun City, Arizona; two sisters, Patricia Thomas of West Carrollton and Lynn Jones of Phoenix, Arizona; numerous grandchildren, Jennifer, Timothy, Robert, Kimberly, Frank, Adam, Natasha, and Bryant; step-grandchildren, Angie, Amanda, Arin, Kenny, Michelle, Amber, Zach, and Billy; and great grandchildren, Nicole, Michael, Wesley, Caleb, Hayden, Eric, Logan, Kayden, Adalynn, Parker, Bella, Brady, and Gemma.

Funeral Service will be held Friday December 19, 2014 at 11:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home - Beavercreek Chapel (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432). Visitation will be Thursday evening from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Valley View Memorial Gardens.
