James Hoover

HOOVER, James C., age 80, of Moraine, passed away Thurs., March 8, 2007 at Liberty Retirement Community. He was preceded in death by his wife Freda, infant grandson Zachary James Hoover, son-in-law Ken Greer and dear friend Ras Haire. James is survived by daughters Janie Norman (David) of West Lafayette, IN and Louise Greer of Washington Twp.; son Bob Hoover (Debbie) of Dayton; 4 grandchildren Katelyn Hoover, Paul (Kay) and Michael Greer (Lysa) and Kelly Ball; 10 great-grandchildren Carolyn, Andrew, Allison, Jennifer, Levi, Paige, Jacob, Amanda, Emily and Hannah; 2 great-great-grandchildren Rachel and Brandon, cousin May Warren (Leo) of WA and special cousin Marie Flanary of Greenville, TN. He retired from G.M. after 23 years of service, was a W.W.II Army veteran, an avid fisherman and enjoyed playing cards with special friends Linda and Dave Gunsauley. Funeral services 1 P.M., Tues., March 13, 2007 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Pastor Clyde Waites officiating. Interment Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
