James Hayes

HAYES, James William, 52 of Huber Heights passed away Thursday, September 21, 2006. He is survived by his sons: Michael and Patrick; daughter, Danielle; longtime companion, Terri Brown and her children, Heather and Erin Brown; grandchildren: Sean and Evan Gallagher; parents, Billy and Kay Shoemake; brothers: Ricky Hayes, Michael and Tony Shoemake; sister, Valorie Wilson. He was a veteran of the US Air Force and the Ohio Army National Guard, member of the American Indian/Alaskan Native Committee at WPAFB, and member of the Fairborn American Legion. He has worked in various capacities at Wright-Patterson AFB for over 20 years. Visitation will be held 4-6:30PM Monday, September 25th at the Newcomer Funeral Home (4104 Needmore Rd.), where a memorial service will begin at 6:30PM. In lieu of flowers, donations are encouraged in James' memory to the Miami Valley Council for Native Americans, 3203 N. Main St., Dayton, OH.
