James Michael Hart

James Michael "Jim" Hart, age 75, of Huber Heights, passed away May 15, 2021. He was born December 11, 1945 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Robert and Mary Hart. In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his brother, Joe Hart; and sister, Christine Snyder.

Jim is survived by his wife of nearly 54 years, Doris Hart; children: Connie Barnes (Robert), Robb Hart (Angie), Rachel Peterson (Kyle) and Amanda Hart; 5 grandchildren: Jena Hart, Kate Hart, Emma Thornhill, Tallyn Peterson and Merrick Peterson; 2 step-grandchildren: Brandon Gigandet and Krisney Gwin; great-grandson, Hunter Gigandet; brother, Timothy Hart; and sister, Kathleen Hart.

Jim was a kind, simple, and good man. He loved his Savior, the Lord, Jesus Christ. He loved his wife, Doris, and his youngest daughter, Amanda; of whom he lived with and watched over. He loved Robb, Rachel, and Connie, and was proud of them. He loved being a heavy equipment mechanic and figuring out how to fix any kind of engine problem. He loved to farm and grow a garden. Jim never met a stranger - he could talk to anybody about anything. He was always genuinely interested in other people. He always had a smile and something good to say to others. His friendship, talents, kindness, and good nature will surely be missed by all who knew him

Visitation will be held from 10-11 am on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, where the funeral service will begin at 11:00 am.
