Fletcher, James H, of Miamisburg passed away June 30, 2016. He was born in Kentucky to the late Ada Mae and James H. Fletcher. James retired from Deniston Oldsmobile in 1991 after 35 years as a mechanic. He enjoyed fishing, boating, and traveling in his free time.
In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his daughter, Joyce Hall; sisters, Lottie and Marie; and brothers, Leon and Clark.
James leaves behind to cherish his memory, loving wife of 70 years, Sylvia Fletcher; daughters, Dolores (Terry) Barker, Joanna Tipton, and Marla (Leon Newton) Rose; sons, Kenneth Fletcher, Jimmy Fletcher; 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren; sister Phyllis; brother, Charles; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral service to be held at Newcomer Funeral Home - Kettering Chapel on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at 2pm. Visitation to be held prior to service (1-2pm). Burial to follow at Highland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in James' memory to Hospice of Dayton.
