GIBSON, James W. age 80 passed away Sunday, April 22, 2012.
He was born May 9, 1931 in Wayland, Kentucky to the late Hiarm and Vivian Gibson. He is preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Gibson; daughter, Pauline Carpenter; son, Harold Gibson; sister, Mable Collins, and brother, Harold D. Gibson.
He is survived by his sons, James (Judy) Gibson of New Lebanon , C. Eugene "Gene" (Pamella) Gibson of Dayton; and Glenn (Angie) Gibson of Dayton; numerous dear grandchildren and great-grandchildren; 4 sisters; and 3 brothers.
James served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
The family will receive friends Friday, April 27, 2012 from 1:00 pm until the time of service at 2:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home – North, 4104 Needmore Rd. Interment to follow at Willow View Cemetery.
