James Geswein
GESWEIN, James P., age 90, passed away February 23, 2011.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn; grandson, Ryan Geswein; brother, William; and sisters, Julianne Redfern and Mary Stromenger.
He is survived by sons, James "Irish"(Paula) and Jeff (Darlene); grandchildren, Janine (Mark) Rayney, Jamie (Andrea) Geswein, Kyle (Missi) Geswein, and Neil (Erin) Geswein; great – grandchildren, Garrett, Gage, Gabrielle, and Gavin Rayney, Reed and Cole Geswein; and numerous dear nieces and nephews.
He served his country during WWII. He retired from Suburban Motor Freight and was a teamster for 45 years. He was also a member of the VFW. He loved to attend his grandchildren's sporting events and was a loving father.
The family will receive friends Saturday, February 26, 2011 from 12:00 pm until the time of service at 1:30 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home – Beavercreek, 3380 Dayton Xenia RD. Interment at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of your choice in his memory.
