Geiger, James H. Sr., age 83, of Dayton, Ohio passed away on Monday, March 2, 2020. He was born in Dayton, Ohio on May 5, 1936 to the late Frederick and Cora M. Geiger (nee Steele).
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 52 years, Sara G. Geiger; son, James H. Geiger, Jr.; siblings, Floyd Geiger and Rosemary Hastings.
James is survived by his two daughters, Mary (Richard) Misner of Florida, and Joyce (Jack) McPeek of Fairborn; 7 grandchildren, Michelle Geiger (mother of Jaeden), David Geiger (father of Brent and Declan), James Geiger III, Howard Misner (father of Tristan), Ashley Misner (mother of Jaxon and Liliana), Joey Misner, and Kristi McPeek (mother of Caleb); and a host of other family members and friends.
In loving memory of James, contributions may be made to Day City Hospice, 8039 Washington Village Dr, Dayton, OH 45458.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2020 from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432. Funeral Ceremony will be 12:00 pm with Pastor Eric Meade officiating. Burial will follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery, 8135 N Dixie Dr, Dayton, OH 45414.
