James V. Gay

James Vernon Gay, age 85 of Dayton, passed away Monday, March 3, 2025. He was born March 19, 1939 in Dayton, Ohio the son of the late Frank Gay and Ruby Jackson. He served his country in the United States Air Force. James worked as a Fire Fighter for Miami Township and as a Shop Foreman for several car dealerships. He has a passion for Golf and Boating. James was happiest spending time with his family. He will be dearly missed.

James is survived by his Wife of 64 years, Judith Daughter, Ruby L. Owens; Grandsons, Patrick Owens, and Jeremy (Katy) Owens; Granddaughter, Carlene (Corey) Harbison; Great-grandchildren, Coralyn Harbison, Callum Harbison, and Coco Harbison; Brothers, Bill Gay, and Larry Gay; and Sister, Bonnie Honeycutt; and by numerous other friends and family.
