James E. Frederick, age 71 of Kettering, OH went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 12, 2021. He was born November 27, 1950 in Pike County, Ohio to Rollo and Beulah (Blair) Frederick. James married Kim on March 21, 2017 in Pike County, OH.
Jim graduated in 1968 from Piketon High School in Pike County, OH. He was a tool and die maker for Gem City Engineering for 30 years and Avery Dennison for 12 years, retiring in 2016. Jim loved NASCAR, fishing, serving his neighbors through the Lord, woodworking and sitting on his front porch with his friend of 52 years, Charles Spencer, Jill and his dog Roman. He loved his church and being a greeter at Medway Church and passing out hugs. Jim loved discussing the Bible with his Pastor Brian and Pastor Kevin along with other church members. He loved dancing with Kim any time of the day and they were always joined by Roman. Jim enjoyed going out and listening to the "Just-n-Tyme" band and visiting family in Pike County. He would make people laugh and would always have a smile on his face. He loved his family and friends dearly and will be greatly missed by all.
Jim is survived by his loving wife Kimberly; two sons, Jimmy and Chris Frederick; two daughters, Mandy (Roy) Keeton and Amy Kreitzer; ten grandchildren, Clysta, Ashley, Megan, Evelyn, Curtis, Alex, Grant, Jamye, Myria and Taylor; five great grandchildren; four brothers, Ed (Marie) Frederick, Steve (Carol) Frederick, David Frederick and Brian Frederick; two sisters, Sheila (Steve) Looney and Vira (Tim) Nichols; nieces, Lisa (Dave) Lewis, Lynn (Rod) Carrico, Autumn (John) Wolfe and Angie (Nick) Williams, numerous great nieces and nephews; and other numerous family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Roberta; a son, Timmy Kreitzer Jr.; grandchildren, Aubre'auna, Jay'auna and Kemyla Cottle and Laura Frederick.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Jim's name to Medway Church, 2550 South Dayton Lake View, New Carlisle, OH 45344.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held on Monday, December 20, 2021 from 10:00 to 11:00 am at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions-Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432. A Celebration of Jim's Life will follow the gathering at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Jim will be laid to rest following the celebration at Valley View Memory Gardens, Xenia, OH.
