James Franklin Heatherly

James Franklin Heatherly, age 87, of Dayton, OH passed away Thursday, August 30, 2012. Born February 10, 1925 in Demory, Campbell County TN. He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Christine (nee Gilreath). He is survived by his son Larry (Bev), daughter Krista; his precious grandchildren Isaac, Jacob, and Lana; and several nieces and nephews. Also preceding him in death were his parents Thomas Jefferson Heatherly and Verdie Olive Heatherly (nee Bolinger); brother Elbert, sisters Mary, Margie, Josephine and half brother Robert Heatherly.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at 11:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., where the family will receive friends for one hour prior from 10:00-11:00 am. Burial to follow at Valley View Memorial Gardens. Contributions may be made in James' memory to The Hospice of Miami Valley or to Alzheimer's Association, Miami Valley Chapter.
