age 77 of Dayton, passed away Friday, February 3, 2006 at Spring Creek Nursing Home. James was born May 14, 1928, the son of William and Docie Foley. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church, Drexel, OH. James is survived by his children, John (Shawn) Foley, Elaine (Martin) Carter, and Beverly Phipps (Ronald Wening); sister, Betty Lou Hinkle; grandchildren, Jody (Debbie) Cruea, Jacinda (Kent) Huber, Randall (Cindy) Carter, Douglas (Jodi) Carter, James Carter, Phillip Carter, Joshua Phipps, Jennifer Phipps, and Jeremy Phipps; and 12 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Inez Foley; and sister, Clara Skaggs. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 8, 2006 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. Pastor Doug Criswell will officiate.
