James Henry Eyler Jr., "Jim," age 73 of Waynesville, passed away on Friday, May 24, 2024 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born January 23, 1951 in the son of the late James Eyler Sr. and Dorothy Eyler.
As a young man, Jim worked at his family's furniture store, Eyler's Furniture, in Springboro. He also started his own small engine repair business when he was 16 years old. He also enjoyed cars and "piddle farting around" outside. Jim had a full sense of selflessness, a multitude of wit, and will be remembered for being a very kind man. He was an exceptional husband, father, and grandfather who will be greatly missed.
Jim is survived by his wife, Charlotte; son, Shawn Eyler; daughters, Kimberly (Randy) Stone and Rebecca (Brad) Vernon; numerous grandchildren; sister, Susie; as well as many relatives and friends.
