James Everett Asbury

ASBURY, James Everett, age 74, of Beavercreek, passed away Monday, July 13, 2009. He was born January 29, 1935 in LaFollette, TN. He was a member of Agape Family Worship Center and an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. He is survived by his children, Allan (Susan) Asbury, Jamie (Mark) McVey, Connie (Richard) Burns, Jerry (Belinda) Asbury, Tim (Melody) Maples, and Amanda Maples; 25 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; 9 brothers and sisters, Arthur "Jun Bug" Carden, Rosalee (Don) Asbury, Mary Dow, George "Buck" (Carol) Asbury, Gayland Asbury, Pat (Jack) Lay, Sharon (Don) Burns, Brenda Matlock, and Missy (Larry) Johnson; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by dearest friend/father-in-law, Hugh Cusick; father, Everett Asbury; mother, Fannie Carden; brother, Joe Carden; sister, Lucy Carden; beloved niece, Wendy Tindell; aunt Ailene from Michigan. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 18, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at Agape Family Worship Center (2141 Harshman Rd, Riverside, OH, 45424). Visitation will be from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm at the church. Burial will follow at Byron Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Agape Family Worship Center to help with funeral expenses.
