James S. Evans, age 90 of Billings, MT passed away peacefully on Friday, August 23, 2019 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born January 30, 1929 in Ovando, Montana to Daniel and Esther (Brunner) Evans.
James proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He loved his sports cars, dogs and enjoyed traveling to Las Vegas. James was a math teacher in Montana and was a Montana State Employee, conducting training in the Health Care field throughout the state. He was funny, witty, loved his family and friends and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
James is preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Mary L Evans; four brothers, Charles, Daniel "Hughie", Donald and Alfred Evans. He is survived by his sister in laws, Karen Wolf and Helen Frongner; nephews, Rob (Nancy) Evans, Mark (Lehla) Evans and Owen Evans; nieces, Cindy (Greg) Caudill and Marsha Evans; and many extended family and friends.
